What is an E-Cigarettes?

E-Cigarettes are specially designed devices to deliver nicotine to the body via an e-liquid container, coil and battery. These unique pieces of kit can provide an alternative method of nicotine intake without the known chemicals and by-products that are inhaled through tobacco smoking and are known to be extremely damaging to your health.

E-Cigs, E-Cigarettes and Electronic Cigarettes are all similar names for the same thing, the equipment used in these devices for the purpose of smoking e-cigs is generally the same.

Vaping with E-Cigarettes could also help you kick the habit of smoking tobacco and possibly lead to a healthier lifestyle.

What is E-Liquid?

Using E-Cigs requires liquid specially made to work in your chosen vaping device which produces vapour via a heating method and then inhaled.
E-Liquids are made up from mixed ingredients that include Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerin, nicotine, flavourings etc.
The levels of each of these ingredients may differ dependant on flavour, nicotine strength and intent purpose.

There are a huge amount of e-liquids available in various flavours and nicotine strengths which allows you to completely customise your vaping experience.

Are E-Cigarettes safe to use?

Unfortunately there is no absolute answer to this understandably commonly asked question. Researchers and Health Experts are trying to find out. So far, results are mixed though its been said that they could be a safer alternative to smoking tobacco.

“E-cigarettes aren’t thought of as 100% safe, but most experts think they’re less dangerous than cigarettes”, says Neal Benowitz, MD, a nicotine researcher at the University of California at San Francisco.

Almost half a million people die from cigarette smoking every year, most of the harm comes from the thousands of chemicals that are burned and inhaled in the smoke however E-cigs don’t burn, so people aren’t as exposed to those toxins.

What is an E-Cigarettes?

Vaping could be considerably cheaper than smoking tobacco although there may be setup costs, for example the cost of an e-cig starter kit to get you started in your vaping journey.

The Cost of E-Cigs and E-Liquid vary mainly down to device type and ingredients. Some beginner kits can start from £20 with Advanced Kits starting from around £50. A 10ml bottle of e-juice should last around 5-6 days dependant on usage and vaping frequency but is a good guideline for an average user.

There are some replacement items used in some devices such as atomizers and coils that may need to be renewed at regular intervals. This again is down to frequency of use and the voltage of the battery you use.

Which E-Liquid should I choose?

This can be a difficult decision for “new to vaping” customers and can often lead to the wrong decision and unsatisfactory results for your taste or vaping style.

For New Vapers that have taken the leap from smoking tobacco we would suggest a stronger nicotine e-liquid to provide a similar amount of nicotine that you are used to and maybe reduce the nicotine strength gradually.

There are also so many flavours to choose from and it would be advised to try different e-juices and discover your preferred liquids. A simple and inexpensive way to do this would be to benefit from our current 5 E-Liquids for £9.99 offer and choose a variety of flavours.

PG & VG – Whats the difference?

You may have come across the terms PG and VG whilst browsing vaping juices. It can be quite confusing to some users what and why there are these 2 different ingredients in our E Liquids, but knowing the difference between the two can vastly improve your vaping experience.

These fluids have different consistencies and also slightly different tastes to each other along with distinctive through/mouth sensations when vaping. Most e-juices will be built up of a mixture of both PG & VG and the ratio of them may differ. In fact some devices or kits may only work with a certain ratio.

Propylene Glycol (PG):
– Propylene Glycol is high quality pharmaceutical grade, in combination with the nicotine and flavours this gives you more of a throat hit.

Vegetable Glycerine (VG):
– Glycerine helps to produce more vapour and holds more flavour.
