TEREA tobacco sticks have been specifically developed for the latest IQOS generation – IQOS ILUMA. Each IQOS ILUMA model features a revolutionary bladeless SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM, which gently heats the tobacco inside the TEREA tobacco sticks. This provides a consistent taste experience, with improved draw and generous vapour.

What are TEREA tobacco sticks made of?

TEREA tobacco sticks contain a heating element that generates heat in the tobacco stick through electromagnetic induction. This way, the tobacco is gently heated from the inside, offering taste consistency from stick to stick.

No more cleaning: The tobacco is gently heated inside the IQOS ILUMA through induction technology. TEREA tobacco sticks are sealed on both ends, so no tobacco residue remains in the device. This means you do not need to clean your device.

Easy to operate: The innovative auto start/stop function on IQOS ILUMA makes it easy to operate. When you insert a TEREA tobacco stick, IQOS ILUMA will automatically start heating. When you remove the stick, the device switches off automatically.

What is the difference between TEREA tobacco sticks and HEETS tobacco sticks?

With both HEETS and TEREA, real tobacco is heated instead of burned. Their difference lies in the technology. HEETS tobacco sticks are heated with HEATCONTROL TECHNOLOGY and a heating blade in the IQOS ORIGINALS devices (or older IQOS generations). On the other hand, TEREA tobacco sticks are heated through the revolutionary SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM of IQOS ILUMA. This activates the innovative steel-coated metal heating element inside the tobacco sticks.

The two tobacco sticks also differ in construction, giving them a different appearance from the outside.

Can TEREA tobacco sticks be used with older IQOS heated tobacco devices?

No, that’s not possible. TEREA SMARTCORE STICKS are designed to be used only with models in the IQOS ILUMA line. If inserted into the IQOS ORIGINALS or older IQOS device, a TEREA stick may damage the devices. Similarly, HEETS tobacco sticks cannot be used with IQOS ILUMA.

TEREA tobacco sticks contain sharp metal parts which can cause serious injury if swallowed. Do not disassemble TEREA tobacco sticks, never swallow them and always keep them out of the reach of children. Do not insert the IQOS ILUMA holder into chargers of previous IQOS devices and vice versa.

Are IQOS ILUMA and TEREA tobacco sticks an alternative to smoking cigarettes?

For adult smokers who are not yet ready to stop smoking, switching to IQOS ILUMA and TEREA tobacco sticks is a better alternative than continuing to smoke cigarettes. IQOS tobacco is gently heated and not burned.
